Caribbean Cruising Begins

December 3, 2019

Serena arrived in St. Thomas by ship and soon motored east and south through the islands towards Antigua. The first stop was in Virgin Gorda's North Sound in the British Virgin Islands and a quiet anchorage in front of Prickly Pear island.

Captain Eddie reported, "This puts us at a better angle for the wind and seas for the 80-mile leg to St. Maarten."

The crossing was beautifully smooth, and Serena soon arrived in St. Maarten. Here are some of the views from the helm station.
